On March 14th, 2015 we will be hosting our 12th annual Las Vegas Prom Closet event. Local high school students will receive free dresses for prom. This new event is partnered again with our great partners at Project 150 and the amazing Zappos.com.
New to this year's event - we'll be adding mens attire to our shopping experience. So ladies, grab your date on the way.
Our event is not possible without our outstanding volunteers who spend the day with us working hard and making dreams come true for so many young men and woman. With the help of over 80 volunteers we were able to provide 500 dresses to local teens last year. We hope to see them all back this year!
What: At Las Vegas Prom Closet we will help you find a gently used prom dress and matching accessories. We have donated dresses available for girls and attire for boys who want to go to prom but don't have the extra money for formalwear and accessories.
When: Saturday, March 14, 2015 from 9am-3pm
Where: Zappos Campus, Downtown Las Vegas, 400 E. Stewart Ave. 89101
Each year we hold a single annual event, Operation Glass Slipper, where area students can pick out a free gentle used or new formal dress and accessories. Our inventory is supplied by the generous donations from the local community. Unfortunately we are not able to provide dresses outside of Operation Glass Slipper due to operational constraints.
We continually collect dresses throughout the year and also at dress drive events closer to our event dates each year. If you are interested in donating your gently used attire (male or female), please see our How To Help page for the current donation center locations.
